Help get a little closer to your dream of home ownership with the First Home Buyers Grant

First home buyers who wish to build a home in Victoria may be eligible to tap into the Government’s financial schemes to help get them into the market sooner. Be it a house, apartment or similar, if it is valued at $750,000 or less you may be eligible for the $10,000 grant.

Additionally, if you are a first home buyer in Victoria and your new home is valued at $600,000 or less you may also be eligible for a complete stamp duty exemption. It all adds up to give first home buyers in Victoria more opportunities to buy a place of their own.

Am I Eligible for the Grant?

Just answer seven simple questions on the Government’s FHOG website to determine your eligibility.

Provided you are an Australian citizen or permanent resident, are aged 18 plus, have not previously received a first-home owner grant in Australia, and plan to live in the home for at least 12 months within the specificed timeframe you may be eligible to apply to receive the one-off $10,000 grant.
