Opalia goes on holidays!

The Opalia team have been very busy this year!

Since launching at the end of September 2018, they have been working very hard. EIG Developments, the team behind Melton’s south thriving new community, have been keeping up with demand after the first two releases were sold out in record time.

Before kicking off 2019, Opalia will also be taking a short break. Although they are closing their Sales Office doors from 5pm Friday, 21 December and re-opening their doors at 12pm Monday, 14 January 2019, Opalia are proud to announce that they will be open by appointment. News is spreading fast about the new suburb Weir Views.

Opalia, earmarked as a new affordable community.

We are so excited to be a part of a new suburb and the heart of Weir Views.

So we are even more excited to be featured in today’s Herald Sun newspaper. An article on why Weir Views is set to become the affordable housing hub.

“BUYERS will be able to snare a piece of one of Melbourne’s newest suburbs for as little as $155,000.

EIG Developments has announced it will transform more than 57ha of dormant land in Weir Views into almost 600 affordable housing lots, a $45 million shopping precinct, and sports grounds.

A government school has also been proposed for the site — formerly part of Melton South — for “well into the future”.

Weir Views was one of 11 new suburbs recently established in the “growth corridor” between Melton and Caroline Springs.

The ‘Opalia’ development would have an end value of about $200 million and form “the heart of Weir Views and a contemporary anchor for Melton”, EIG chief executive George Georgiou said.
